April the 30th)
Our private page has just been updated. Platinium and Silver passwords have changed.
I can hear it. Quite a few visitors were complaining about the design and mostly the loading time and popups. Since I have had some spare time, I have changed the desing (a bit...) at The Last Resort. The most visited pages (the one you're reading and both the N64 page and the Supra Hle's page) should be loading faster. Feel free to post your opinions in our forum (TheCPY.com section).
Still concerning the website, since we've got some extra webspace, a few pages have been updated and more files will be added again. Thank you for visiting The Last Resort.

1964 version 0.6 (an open source n64 emulator) has just been released. It seems to improve compatibility and OpenGl support. You can grab both binary and source code from our N64 page.
As you might know, Duncan has stopped most of its
activities. It seems that The Enforcer is also willing to stop most of its activities with
The Company (spring fever?). Basically, The Enforcer helped me a lot with the private page
and sometimes with this website.Iit doesn't help me much but at this very moment, the ONLY
full time active member at The Company (besides our beta testers team) is me (Dominator).
So, I am now looking forward to get a few (2 or 3) new motivated members in The Company. I
am specially looking for :
- A regular news poster ;
- A private page helper ;
- An ini file author ;
So, if you're interested in joining a 10 years old team, helping a 2 years old
website, take part in our next dozen releases, feel free to get in touch with me.
Please spread the word and thanks for your support.

Well, this is most probably the worst thing I've heard in
ages: For some personal reasons, my partner and friend, Duncan, decided to quit the emu
scene. I just can't find the words, but thinking that Duncan, who's certainly one of the
coolest guy around, will be missing in action is probably the last thing I wanted to hear
:( If you wanna read hiw whole post at Emunin64, head on over here.
Duncan, I wish you the best for the future my friend.
The Company is now over 10 years, and yet another of its cool members has joined his Hall of Fame. I suddenly feel kinda old and lonely...

Daedalus, a quite recent and active N64 emulation project, has once again been updated. I suggest you to download the file and check its long list of improvements.

It's been a hard decision but after all, I decided that my
next ultra.ini file would be the last one released by The Company. I have been releasing
over a dozen ultra ini files and several patches for over two years by now but I haven't
been motivated with this fora while.
Hopefully, there seem to be some people willing to produce some ultra ini files
here and there.
Basically, I'd like to concentrate more on the Supra
Hle project and finally get involved in the fab Apollo emulator.
So, my next ultra ini file should be our last one. I think that I'll also try to set up an
easy Ultra InI faq for the beginners out there willing to patch some roms and make an
ultra ini file of their own. I might even go and spread some of my WIP patches.
I hope that you'll get my point ;)

Supra Hle version 1.0.F is available. Our new version
fixes the Win2k and WinNt problems. The SupraHle package also comes with an executable
patch. This patch will solve all the problems some Voodoo 3 and banshee users experienced.
You can read the whole description and download the file here.
Updated Daedalus added.
April, the 6th)
A new N64 emulator has just been released : Daedalus.
Here is the official description :
"Here is the first release of Daedalus. Please note
that the release number is 0.01b, which means that this is a PUBLIC BETA. There are bound
to be a few bugs in this first release, but hopefully there should be no major problems.
To run this version of Daedalus, you will need DirectX 8 and (optionally) an audio plugin
conforming to Zilmar's plugin spec. I've been testing the emulator using the TR64 audio
ucode-1 plugin, which is available from http://www.emulation64.com/plugin64.htm.
Please read the readme.txt file that comes with the archive for more on how to use
Daedalus.
The source for Daedalus will be released next weekend, after I've set up a mechanism for
signing any offical releases of the code. In the meantime please feel free to discuss
Daedalus on the Boob
forums, or on #daedalus on efnet."
You can download version 0.01b here!

We've set up an access to The Last Resort's archives. You can now access the archives at the bottom of the page.
I have located all the reasons why Supra Hle version 1.0.E caused some problems with some Voodoo 3 and banshee configurations. I'll be working onto different solutions and try to make sure those users will take full profit of the latest improvements.
