- The N64 OpenGL plugin based upon TR64's source has been updated by Fires.
The main improvement lies into uCodes detection (this should basically help the end users a lot.
So if you were already using it, speed up and update your current TR64 OGL plugin for some more convenience.
You can grab it from our plugins page.
- Rice has released a minor update of his N64 (Daedalus based) plugin.
If you own a 16bit card, Rice has heard your requests and has fixed his plugin.

- Lemmy and LaC have just released Nemu 8.0.
Even tho' it was said to be cancelled, it finally happened, 3 years after the previous official release back in March 2000. Nemu 8.0 adds major compatiblity improvement and speed over the previous official release.
It also comes up with the most performing N64 Netplay support available. N64 emu coders will probably enjoy its debugger functions.
Sound support has been improved a bunch aswell as the Nemu gfx plugin. Note that you can use some third party plugins aswell.
There also seems to be quite a bunch of possible tweaks around this new Nemu. "New Nemu" fits well since it looks likes the emulator has seen major changes brought to his core and system.
You can grab it from our emu page.
- Rice has released a new version of his N64 plugin.
It is showing great improvements on several games encountered severe or minor graphics problems.

- Cyrus, author of Icarus, a Dreamcast emulator for PCs, has posted a movie of Shenmue running on his emulator.
Besides the unsruprising fact that the emulator requires high Pc specifications, this is an interesting shot.
He has als posted some pictures of new games added to the compatibility status.
Drop by his website for more informations.
Thanks to NGEmu for the news.
- Still busy catching up, I have added some more plugins and tools and I am in the process to add some more.
Did you know that "The Last Resort" is soon gonna be a 5 years old website? Maybe time to clean up grand'pa :)
However, thanks for keeping on visiting The Last Resort.

- It's been such a long time since I haven't updated my sites. It was really about time.
First of all, I wish to thank all the people wo reported me various links errors. Everything should be fixed by now.
I am not trying to catch up with the recent N64 plugins and tools releases. As you might now, besides real life activities,
I am also dealing with the UltraHLE 2064 project, so this is kind of time consuming.
And living here doesn't help either ;)
- Speaking about UltraHLE 2064, most members of the team have been inactive for quite some time.
Still, a few members are still in action and working on the next release.
This is no official statement but I can assure you that we've met serious problems with the HLE approach.
It is far from being the "walk in the park" some people easily describe and we oftenly hardly gather the required informations.
Stay tuned and expect an official (and positive) statement at the official UltraHLE 2064 website.
