[February, the 22nd]
I've recently decided that it was time to release a minor
SupraHLE update. I am not sure yet about the whole kind of improvements it will bring you
out. You can still check the SupraHLE's
website (current status) for some more infos about the current additions. You can also
check out the screenshots section and give the latest Super Smash Brothers
snapshots a look. They currently look a lot like the Smash Bro's snapshots
RealityMan posted (UltraHLE 1.5 related).
Actually, I've got many more roms to boot or show up something (too many to
mention, really) but I'd like to get back to the speed improvements.
In fact, the SupraHLE projects now aims at :
- Running about 100 playable games titles.
- Catch up Corn's speed on a few targeted games.
Ofcourse, it will mainly depend on my ability to generate an x86 assembler source
code I could compile. Whatever the way, once these two goals are reached, the project will
close.
However, SupraHLE 1.1.2 will be made available within a week.

Many changes at The Last Resort. If you look t the left
menu, you'll notice some new sections.
In the N64 section, there is now a plugins and tools page. All plugins are not yet
available but we will soon provide you with all of the available N64 plugins.
A DOCS section is also there. You will find out all of our home made
tutorials/guides.
Last but not least, in the N64 section again, you will find a ROMS section. There,
only direct download to public domain games. Most of them can be played with your favorite
emus so feel free to download whatever you like.
The UltraHLE / SupraHLE has been updated (revision 2). I
have corrected a few mistakes, mispellings, added a few infos here and there, links to
some good documents and also described another INI command.
I'll keep on updating the guide on a regular basis.
You can check it out here

Sorry for the lack of news these days. I have been busy
working on the WHQ's website.
Currently, if you are also interested into PSX and Amiga, you can check our WHQ since all
the sections are 90% complete with tons of emus, tools, plugins and so on.
DC & Arcade should follow up real soon and then I'll start thinking about some
serious newsposters.
Have you noticed? There is currently no more popup between you and me.

Today, I have slightly updated the Nemu ini cheats Faq. You can still check it out here.
Is SupraHLE still developped? Ofcourse it is. I still
have a lot of things to try out even tho' I haven't got much time left these days (and
previous releases took me some time also).
However, you can check the SupraHLE site and give the snapshots section a look. You'll see that
another playable game is there. Compatibility list is slowly but surely growing up. Not
too bad for a "dead" or "hacked" emu? ;)

Looking for an update? The long expected UltraHLE &
SupraHLE patching guide is now available. If you wisk to know more about UltraHLE and
SupraHLE, their debugger, the ini file, loads of tricks, infos and so on, fell free to
give that 120KB long guide a look.
You can check it out here (I'll
soon set up a tutorial section).
SupraHLE users will need the special SupraHLE SDK.
SupraHLE SDK is just SupraHLE v1.1.1 with all debugger functions activated (some hacks ahd
to be removed). It also comes with a help file (available from the debugger itself, using
the denuclearized crew's routine). Do not download that version if you are not interested
into INI patching.
You can get it from the SupraHLE
site.
More? Here you'll find my first update of the Ultra.ini
file in a loooong time. What does it add? :
- Aerofighters Assault patch added : Playable
- Robotron64 patch added : Playable (w/ cheat)
- Banjo Kazooie slow movement fixed
- Many missing comments added
- Compatibility list updated and added.
You can download it from our N64 page.
SupraHLe already included the aerofighters assaults,
still it was worth updating it with the following enhancements :
- Robotron64 patch added : Playable (w/ cheat)
- Banjo Kazooie slow movement fixed
- Many missing comments added
- Compatibility list updated and added.
You can also get it from the SupraHLE site.
That's it ... for today ;)

Have you ever been thinking about playing Zelda Ocarina of Time (or another N64 rom) in 3d Mode? If you feel like you could be interested, check out that thread at emutalk. Firestar007 kindly reported us that some of the pc 3d adapters work with Ultra/SupraHLE (but only with Ultra/SupraHLE). He's posted some "3d like" snapshots of Zelda OoT to give you an overall idea of the result. Feel free to check this out.
You may have noticed that I have missed several news
these days. Well, I have been quite busy typing the Ultra/SupraHLE INI patching guide. It
is nicely progressing and an almost complete version should be made available later on
next week.
So if you're interested into patching, don't bug me anymore : it is coming up for real
this time.
