I have updated the Supra HLE status page. If you're interested in our progresses, feel free to check it out here
October, the 23rd)
Several windows XP users reorted various problems with Supra Hle. It appears that some glide wrappers are not XP compliant. Supra Hle is NOT responsible for this so if you ever run a rom and the emulators quits, I'd suggest to try another wrappers such as XGL, Xglide or GL2Ideal.
You may have noticed a slight change in the left menu but also a lot less popups and banners. Our brand new designed websites a re coming up soon but in the meantime, I thought that it was worth getting a "faster to load" web page.

Added some mirrors links for Supre Hle 1.1.0 & Evoodoo pack. Head on there

McLeod has once again updated his glide wrapper Evoodoo.
The version 2.0.3 adds a more realistic fog and a new alternate lighting system that makes
Doom 64, Star Soldier and Duke Nukem more playables and fixes WaveRace sky issues. The new
version features an enhanced support for older cards with less texture operations and now
you can disable filtering and speed up games.
You can download evoodoo 2.0.3 here
Or Supra HLE 1.1.0 + Evoodoo 2.0.3 here
Feel free to visit Evoodoo's
official site.
Supra Hle v1.1.0 is out and ready for download. What's in
the SupraHle's package ?

Our new website is almost ready. WWW.THECPY.COM will soon become a gateway offering the
choice between The Company Whq and The Last Resort.
From now on, the main entry at The Last Resort becomes the U.S entry. The old U.S
entry located at Tripod won't exist no more. You will just have choice between U.S and
French mirrors for The Last Resort.
As you can see the menu on the left side has already changed a little. A lot less
annoying applets are being loaded. The Last Resort is about to become our Download server
and simple HQ and you will soon have the opportunity to discover our new WHQ.

I am sorry to tell you that I have decided to cancel
current developpement of Ultra InI files.. It appears senseless to trying adding more to
Ultra Hle when the next Supra Hle versions will have a much superior
potential. Even tho' it doesn't mean that we won't release any ultra.ini file
anymore, please consider that
side of our work is currently on hold. Ofcourse, the ini patching guide tutorial
WILL get released anyway.
Talking about Supra Hle, I am currently working on a
Release Candidate. Even tho' I am not sure yet about
the improvements I'll leak to the public, next version WILL improve compatibility
(some persons seem to ask
for better evidences about my work). End users shouldn't worry about most of these
mofiidcations : they
don't involve any tricks, tweaks, ini settings for them. "Just plug 'n
play".
We've added the latest Evoodoo version to our N64 page.
Evoodoo is a glide wrapper (rsort of 3dfx emulator).
The latest version is adding some minor gfx improvements and fixes the Fighting Force 64
bug (inverted screen).
Congratulations again to McLeod the great work he is doing with Evoodoo. You can
download it here.

Just to let you know, I am still working on the Supra Hle
project, testing a few more features. Then I'll see what should be implemented and may
leak a Release Candidate. However, please note that Supre Hle is still carrying several
Ultra Hle's downsides such as ini patches requirements, 2d texts hard to read or such. I
surely won't have time to try patching every new compatible game to perfection, but
atleast I'll try my best so that they get playable.
Talking about compatibility, you may want to check these new screenshots.
1964, a great open source N64 emulator has been updated
to the version 0.6.4. Here is what 1964 brings you :

Yet another great news reported by Emulation64. Today,
McLeod has updated his evoodoo glide wrapper to version 2.0e.
"A new version of eVoodoo has been released. This release adds 32 bits rendering
support, auto-frameskipping, new color combine system with less texture ops required, new
fast alternate z-buffer optimized of Zelda, Banjo, GoldenEye & MKart (Buggy with
Mario), enhanced fog, new control panel, less amount of memory required. Fixed some bug in
Mario Kart, Sofware rendering for non-Direct3D compatible cards, faster framebuffer,
partial 32bit screenshots support... "
McLeod's site is available here
Feel free to download it from our N64 page.

First of all, I'd like to thank all the guys who sent me
cool emails, cool pst in our forum or at #thecompany (IRc).
Thank you guys. I am glad you appreciate the efforts done.
Well, now I have both a good news, and a bad news. For the bad news. Some beta testers reported that the 8Mbits hack doesn't work with both Win2k and WinXP. I am currently trying to fix this. And no, this is not a simple PE file illegal format. This is a memory management problem. Since I had to cheat around with the memory Supra Hle allocates (extra 4Mbits) and those O/S have different memory management process, I am a little stuck there. Let's say that we're on a WIP status.
The good news? Some new hacks on the way. One of those 4 different hacks has been tested "on the fly". Once applied, I tried a game. As of today I am glad to tell you that the compatibility has been increased. I can't tell you HOW it'll be activated in Supra Hle (autodetection, ini command, ...). But it is here and proves a couple guys out there that improving Ultra Hle wasn't a hoax. Check it out
October, the first)
In case you'd wonder about the Supra Hle project, here
are a few informations about its progress. A couple days ago, I started working on Supra
Hle again. The very last bug is now fixed and I am somehow glad to tell you that the 4
Mbits expansion pack is now 100% added.
What does it mean ? In theory, games such as Donkey Kong 64 or Zelda MoM that do
require 8Mbits Rdram can be emulated if the appropriated patches are being applied. The
necessary debugger and ini file commands are now 8Mbits compliant. As a matter of a fact,
I'll now start trying to patch Zelda MoM and Dk64 (thanks to Azimer for the additional
informations). Ofcourse, I'll try my best to release the next Supra Hle version 1.1.0 with
the appropriated ini patches. Another specific patch still needs to be worked out for
Zelda MoM to work.
In addition to this some extra features should be applied. Some are already up and
working.
Thanks For your attention.
